Domestic Water Pump
Please note that we recommend that you consult a pump professional when selecting the mono block pump for your domestic requirements.
When considering a domestic water pump there are three kinds of monoblock pumps available from Waterhouse:
Peripheral Pump – these provide water at high pressure, with lower flow or volume. They use the most current at high pressure and should not used when used for long periods at or near the maximum pressure levels.
Centrifugal Pump – These centrifugal pumps are more efficient than the Peripheral or Jet pumps.
The centrifugal pumps are well suited for high flow/low pressure. For applications like irrigation.
Centrifugal pumps use maximum current at high flow point, and should not be used for long run periods at or near the maximum flow of the pump.
Jet Pumps have little change in current from low to high pressure or flow and are therefore good for a general application of booster systems.
These monoblock pumps can be used for a variety of purposes.
Generally they are used for irrigating domestic gardens, domestic water supply, boosting of domestic main water supply.
Redistributing saved rain water to gardens.
Boosting main water supply to homes when pressure/flow rate is low.
Where water needs to be moved from storage reservoir to home or garden.

Our domestic pumps are very easy to install, don’t need extensive plumbing but we recommend that a plumber is used for installation.
Pressure vessels and or automatic flow control switches are used in conjunction with these pumps to help with automation i.e. they will enable the pump to switch on and off automatically as and when water is needed.
